* * Directions to Shelbyville * *
The best way I can give directions to Shelbyville is from Hillsboro. So if you are in Coffeen or nearby, you will need to get to Hillsboro.
1. If you are coming into Hillsboro from the south, follow Main Street until you come to a set of stoplights with a MotoMart on your right side. This is the intersection of Main and School street. Turn RIGHT. (You can only go straight or right at this intersection.)
2. If you are enterning Hillsboro from the North, chances are you are already on Route 16. As you approach the stoplights by MotoMart, get in the left turn lane and turn LEFT.
3. You are now on School Street, which is also Route 16. Stay on this road all the way to Shelbyville. You will pass through many small towns along the way. Don't blink, or you will miss them! Some of them are Irving, Witt, Nokomis, Pana, and Tower Hill. Be carefull when passing through these towns that you follow the signs which say 16 East.
4. Once in Shelbyville, follow 16 till you get to North Vine, and turn LEFT on North Vine. **Tip- Keep an eye out for Spruce Street, because that is the street just before North Vine, so you know your'e close.**
5. Follow North Vine about 5-6 blocks till you come to North 6th street, and you should run right into the school!
